Sections
Sections are cut through the building, as either long sections or cross sections of which there are 2 main types:
Basic Sections:
This type of section shows internal and external wall lines, the relationship between floors and shows cills, window and door heads, stairs, landings, beams and up stands if the section line passes through them. This type of section is requested by 80% of our clients.
Sectional Elevations:
This type of section has the same elements as the basic sections, but background detail is added, such as window and door detail, skirting boards, dado and picture rails, as well as cornicing, architrave detail around doors and greater stair detail.
